The second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup brings us to the exciting, high banks of Dover International Speedway this weekend for the AAA 400. We last visited the Monster Mile in May of this year, so it hasn't been a long time since the drivers competed at this 1-mile mixing bowl.

The drivers of Roush Fenway Racing have to be walking tall heading into this week's event. Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards are in the hunt for this season's championship, and Roush drivers historically have been very strong at Dover. Despite Jimmie Johnson's dominant win there earlier in the season, Matt Kenseth and Biffle were nipping at the No. 48 Chevrolet's bumper.

It's shaping up to be another battle between Hendrick Motorsports and Roush Fenway Racing on Sunday. This time could see Mark Martin step into the spotlight. The driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet has a terrific career record at the Monster Mile and the last time we saw him on a high-banked track, he was challenging for the win at Bristol.

Top Fantasy Racing Drivers for Dover

1. Greg Biffle
This weekend marks the stretch of a good series of tracks in the schedule for the No. 16 team. Biffle has been utterly flawless at the Monster Mile in recent years. The past six races at the 1-mile oval have yielded one victory and five top-five finishes. During that span he's led close to 300 laps and he's been in the running for almost every one of those wins.

2. Jimmie Johnson
The three-time defending Cup champion will set out this weekend to establish his dominance in the Chase. He had a quiet top-five at Loudon last week, but he'll look to make some noise at Dover this Sunday. The high-banked oval recently has held a good degree of success for the No. 48 team. Johnson carries a three-race top-10 streak at the Monster Mile into this event, including a dominating win earlier this season.

Fantasy Report

NASCAR.COM's Mike Bell makes his picks for the Monster Mile and says the May race winner should top your list.

3. Mark Martin
The last time the Cup Series competed on a high-banked oval, Martin was at Bristol a few weeks ago dueling with Kyle Busch for the win. It turned out to be a great night at the track for the Hendrick Motorsports veteran with a runner-up finish. Martin loves Dover just as much. He owns a pair of top-fives and four top- 10s in his past six visits to Dover. With the championship on the line, expect the No. 5 team to be awesome this weekend.

4. Tony Stewart
Stewart is showing some signs of pulling out of his recent string of mediocre performances and he has simply been too good at Dover in his career to ignore. In May at the Monster Mile, he charged from the rear of the field to collect a brilliant runner-up finish after 400 laps. He may not be quite that good this Sunday, but we expect a solid run nonetheless.

5. Jeff Gordon
Gordon enters this race looking to rebound from his sub par effort at New Hampshire last week. The urgency of the No. 24 team shouldn't be overlooked when considering your fantasy racing lineups for the Monster Mile. In his past six trips to Delaware, Gordon has walked away with two poles and four top-10 finishes. This is an oval where the Hendrick Motorsports star is capable of leading laps and finishing in the top five.

6. Kyle Busch
Busch had another strong performance at Loudon last weekend with a top-five finish at the 1-mile track. The short tracks have been kind to the Joe Gibbs Racing ace this season. The high banks, too, have been a strong spot for Busch in 2009. His recent victory at Bristol a few weeks ago reminds us of what he's capable of on these style tracks. While Busch has struggled a bit recently at Dover, we remember well his win here in June 2008.

7. Juan Montoya
With the No. 42 team looking like a legitimate championship contender to start the Chase, we have to give them due fantasy consideration no matter what the track right now. Montoya also was impressive on the high banks of Bristol recently and we believe that will translate to success at the Monster Mile, as well. Montoya only has one career top-10 in five starts at Dover, but we believe that statistic should not be overemphasized.

8. Ryan Newman
At the moment Newman is outperforming his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate and boss, Tony Stewart. Don't overlook that fact when making out your lineups for Dover. Newman has had a fair amount of success through the years at the Monster Mile. He's a three-time winner at the 1-mile oval, and he's carrying a four-race top-10 streak into this week's event.

9. Kurt Busch
Busch has been focused on the championship since the Richmond race. The No. 2 team pulled out of a short lull with its top-10s at Richmond and Loudon. Busch only has three career top-fives at the Monster Mile, but two of those performances have come in the past six races at the facility. We believe racing success is all about timing, and the timing is right for the Penske Racing veteran to post another top-10 on Sunday.

10. Matt Kenseth
The risk/reward play this week definitely is the Roush Fenway Racing No. 17 team. Currently mired in a tremendous slump and surely demoralized from missing this season's Chase, Kenseth is looking to get things back on a positive note at Dover. His recent success at the Monster Mile is almost flawless, and really too good to ignore despite his recent struggles. Kenseth's past seven visits to Dover have yielded one win, five top-five and six top-10 finishes. Those numbers include his a top-five run in May, one of only four top- fives to this point in the season for Kenseth.
